Porto:Bus was designed to be useful and respectful of your privacy. This page summarizes how we manage the data necessary for the application to function.

We only collect what is strictly necessary to provide you with real-time arrival times. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

2. Location and Proximity

Unlike other apps, Porto:Bus does not access your GPS location nor track your movements. Real-time arrival queries are made exclusively based on the stop code or name you decide to search or select.

3. Favorites and Preferences

Your favorite lines and stops, as well as theme settings, are stored locally on your device using MMKV technology. This allows you to quickly access information without needing a user account.

4. Analytics and Improvement

We may collect anonymous technical data (device model, app version) to diagnose errors and improve the overall performance of the application.
